I’ve read a couple of novels on my iPhone already but when in the woods I am more interested in using the bird identification aps or the star constellation applications and the fact that it will fit in my pocket and not take up space. I don’t think I need an iPad for now.

We discussed ebooks at our last book club meeting. For me, I like the touch of paper. While I did listen to books on tape when commuting, I found that both the driving and the listening were distracting from each other, thus I was not driving as carefully and not enjoying the novel as thoroughly.

I’m thinking about the kindle… for now I download audiobooks to a small ipod. Generally however I prefer the feel of paper and staring at a book’s page lost in thought…
