Missing her dogs
Libby has been away since Thursday, but she's due home today. She told me she was sure that in that short time, Flike would have doubled in size. So I shot this little bit of video and shared it with her while she was away. Now it's your turn.
You get to see all three in this video. Notice how well Queequeg can shepherd that ball around the yard. And notice how Flike is no longer that shy, intimidated baby (the one that Libby seriously feared was unable to walk at all). All of that wrasslin is supposed to be good puppy socialization behavior. They go on like that for ten minutes at a stretch, often only stopping when someone yelps in actual pain.
You can see the new (expensive) porch in this video. That tree you see at the beginning is the cypress tree that is scheduled to drop all of its wispy leaves right about now.
Looks like someone needs to rake all of those golden ginkgo leaves too.
Update: She's staying an extra day, so she won't be home until Tuesday!
Happy Birthday, Libby!
