Something important happened this week, and it's equally important that we take note of it, even on a humble blog such as this one. A great man has done a great thing, and I truly think the world is a better place because of him.
I'm talking, of course, about the
Florida Cracker, whose birthday it is today. So why don't you
hurry over to
Pure Florida and wish the old boy well. He's not a pup anymore, and he's not getting any younger.

That can’t be a real dog- it’s just too cute.

Arrrghhh! Thou hast cut me to thee bone.
(I know how you like the classics so that was a little Melville style sailor talk)
Thank you Pablo.
Dang, that pup is cute! How can you stand to go to work and not just stay home and play?

Whoa! That dog has way too much cuteness factor! Dangerous, Pablo…

Lynne – Yes, actually. It’s a characteristic of the breed. The shape of the face and the color of the fur gives them a perpetual smile.
Robin Andrea – We take care of each other.
Beau – Yep, it’s real, and it lets you know when you step on its little paws.
FC – Avast with your complaining! You’re a sturdy beam. You can weather the storm.
Walter – Yep, a cutey, but still small and manageable.
